Emilia Elfvik (b. 1991) is a textile artist who lives and works in Gothenburg, Sweden. She works through an open-ended, materially rooted process consisting of a continuous series of experiments, with the aim of creating opportunities to be informed by the material with which she works.
In her sculptural work, she often explores how a multitude of threads can become structural, three-dimensional shapes, working with tension and release, with and against gravity, showcasing the transformative potential of textile.
Emilia also collaborates with Sara Wallstedt.
